Paul Ma is vice president and lead portfolio strategist for Wealth Advisory & Portfolio Solutions Fidelity Institutional® (FI). Fidelity Institutional is a division of Fidelity Investments that offers investment insights, strategies, and solutions, as well as trading services to a wide range of wealth management firms and institutional investors. Fidelity Investments is a leading provider of investment management, retirement planning, portfolio guidance, brokerage, benefits outsourcing, and other financial products and services to institutions, financial intermediaries, and individuals. In this role, Mr. Ma assists the home office and their advisors with investment program designs to scale their business, help them grow their HNW client business, and provide market update that impacts their portfolios. Also, he is the head of the FMAX Investment Consulting team, as well as serving as the speaker on portfolio construction topics at client’s national conferences and engaging in CIO to CIO and home office consultations. Prior to joining Fidelity in 2015, Mr. Ma was a portfolio manager managing U.S. equities at SunAmerica, international and global equities at McLean & Partners and BlackRock, and long/short equities at Quad Capital. Mr. Ma earned his bachelor of arts degree in chemistry from Harvard University and his master of technology and policy degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He also holds the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Series 7, 24, and 66 securities licenses and is a CFA® Charterholder.
